What does the CID do in Create Vendor Campaign section?

This article explains the purpose of the CID in the add vendor campaign section.  

Resolution

The "CID" text area allows you to create a unique campaign ID or campaign name for leads that post to that specific URL with that campaign ID in it.  

It also allows you to track performance of a specific campaign that you are using for your leads in the Dashboard --> Performance Dashboard --> Vendor Performance Report tab of Ricochet.
