The instructions in this article require Administrator permission


This article addresses how users can enable spam guru in Ricochet.

Non-Administrators do not have the access to follow these instructions and should request support from their company admin or open a ticket.


1. To enable Spam Guru features, first log into your Ahoy platform (https://ahoy.ricochet.me) and click on Services


2. Click Activate on the Spam Guru service


3. Click Activate to confirm activation and charges listed.


4. Once activated, navigate to your Ricochet platform, refresh the browser if you're already logged in, then navigate to Configuration


5. Click on Company Info


6. Scroll down to the section called Carrier Registration Info


7. Your "Legal Business Name" will be pre-populated by the Company Name in Ricochet. You can edit if necessary.

Click in the "Business Type" section and choose the type of business you operate.


8. For this example we'll choose Partnership


9. Click in the "Industry" section and choose the industry that best matches yours.


10. For this example, we'll choose Financial


11. Click in the Tax Identification Number (EIN) and enter your business' EIN number (numerical values only).


12. Click inside the Region section and choose the Region that you do business in.


13. For this example, we'll choose USA_AND_CANADA


14. Click inside the "Business Website" section and enter your company website URL.


15. Enter your full Company Legal Address in the following areas. 


16. Enter your full Company Legal Contact Info in the following areas.


17. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click Save


18. Review the pop-up to ensure the information you've entered is correct. Once submitted, no changes can be made until the carrier accepts or rejects the submission.

If all is good to submit, click "Submit"
