How do I apply an IVR template to my phone number(s)?

The instructions in this article require Administrator permission


These instructions describe how to apply an Inbound IVR template to one or multiple phone numbers by navigating to Phone Settings, selecting the desired numbers, choosing an IVR template from the dropdown and confirming the changes, or alternatively applying the template individually within a specific phone number’s settings and saving the updates.

Non-Administrators do not have the access to follow these instructions and should request support from their company admin or open a ticket.


1. To apply an Inbound IVR template to your phone number(s), click Configuration



2. Click Phone Settings


3. You can apply the IVR Template from the main Phone Settings page by clicking the checkbox next to each number you wish to apply.


4. Click the dropdown to select your IVR Template you wish to apply.


5. For this example, we'll select Company Holiday Template


6. Click the blue check box to apply the changes


7. Click Ok to confirm and apply the template.


8. The other way to apply an IVR template individually is within each phone number. Click Edit for the phone number you want to edit.


9. Click on the Routings tab and then click the dropdown under "Use Settings from an IVR Template"


10. For this example, we will select Company Holiday Template.

The phone settings page will refresh to apply the settings.


11. Click Save to apply the changes to the phone number.
