How can I change my default email client when using click to email on leads?

Description

This article explains how to manage default email client when using click to email in the user settings tab.


Resolution


There are 4 options to choose from as your "Default Email Client" - which will open up when you use the Click to Email button on a lead.

To change your option, navigate to Configuration -> User Settings -> General Settings tab and choose from one of the 4 options in the "Default Email Client" dropdown:

Native Email Client:  This will open the default email client/application installed and set as default on your computer.

Gmail Online:  This will open up Gmail's login page in a new tab on your browser.

Outlook Online:  This will open up Outlook's login page in a new tab on your browser.

Outlook Office365 Online:  This will open up Outlook Office365's login page in a new tab on your browser.
