Purpose: Understanding why IMAP Credentials are not Saving

Description
This article describes possible reasons for IMAP Credentials saving failure in user settings tab.
Resolution
There are potentially several reasons why your IMAP Credentials are not saving. One of the most common ones are the incorrect User Name & Password combination. You will have to obtain the correct format for the user name from your email provider.
Another potential issue is the IMAP Port not being filled in completely. There is a text placeholder of 993 in the IMAP Port section that must be filled in.Was this article helpful?
