Can I disable call recording for a specific user?

Description

The instructions in this article require Branch Manager access or above


This article explains how to disable call recording for specific users in the phone settings page.


Resolution


Non-Administrators do not have the access to follow these instructions and should open a ticket.


To disable call recording for a specific user, you can complete this in two places:
1. Navigate to Configuration --> Phone Settings, edit the user's assigned phone number and check the box for "Disable Call Recording" and click Save.
2. Navigate to Manage --> Agents, edit the agent's profile and check the box for "Disable Call Recording" and click Save.
