Description

This article describes the recommended time for failover timeout in the phone settings page.


Resolution


The recommended time for Failover Timeout is contingent on your business needs.  You will want to ensure that there is enough time in the Failover Timeout to ring the users/team/branch selected in your Failover Action before the call is ended (and possibly sent to Voicemail).

The typical Failover Timeout time is between 45 and 60 seconds.
