Description

This article explains how to manage audible tone notifications when text is received in the user settings tab.

Resolution

To enable/disable the setting for audible tone when a new SMS/Text is received, navigate to Configuration --> User Settings --> General Settings, toggle the option for "Plays a notification tone when a new SMS/Text message is received" to either Yes or No, then click Save at the bottom.
