What is the proper way to clear cache on my browser?

Description

This article addresses the steps to be taken to properly clear browsers cache.

Resolution

If you are running into issues with Ricochet functioning normally, it may be best to clear the Google Cache and try to log back in.  Here are the steps:

1. Log out of Ricochet

2. In the upper right side of Chrome, click the 3 vertical dots

3. Click on "Help" >> "About Google Chrome"

4. On the search box type "Clear Browsing Data"

5. Click the "Advanced" tab

6. Ensure that ONLY the "Cached images and Files" checkbox is selected - unselect all other checkboxes

7. Change the "Time Range" dropdown to "All Time"

8. Click "Clear Data"

Once that is completed (it may take a few moments to complete), close your Chrome browser completely and reopen and log back into Ricochet.
